Read the exact date or stock restriction shown.
Open Item Ledger for every affected item.
Find later sales, replacements, purchases or recoveries that depend on the stock.
Use an allowed date only if it represents the real correction.
If dependent actions must be undone, reverse them through their own workflows in the required order.
Recheck quantities and values before recreating the corrected transaction.

- The correction preserves a valid stock history.
Things to know
- A claim stock settlement cannot precede the latest affected stock movement, and a reversal cannot precede its source.
- Do not repeatedly change dates merely to get past validation.
