Record which batteries left defective stock and the amount charged to the buyer.

Step by step

  1. Choose the buyer party and sale date.

  2. Choose Bulk or Per Item pricing and select the available defective battery records.

  3. Review each selected battery, weight and price. Each record represents its own defective unit.

  4. Check the total and choose Save Sale.

  5. Inspect the scrap sale and defective-stock report.

  6. Record actual money received separately in Money against the buyer.

What to check

  • Sold battery records leave available defective stock and the buyer account reflects the scrap sale.

Things to know

  • Batteries still dispatched to a supplier are unavailable for scrap sale.
  • Scrap sale records the sale; do not assume it also records cash or bank collection.
