Correct or cancel a scrap sale
Fix the buyer, selected batteries or sale value while preserving history.

Claims & returns → Scrap Sale → saved sale
Step by step
Find and open the saved scrap sale.
Edit the buyer, date, selected records or pricing as required.
Use Update Sale and review the revised total.
For a sale that did not happen, use Cancel and confirm.
Check defective-stock availability and the buyer ledger.
Review any separately recorded receipt; update or reverse it only if the actual money record is wrong.
What to check
- The updated or canceled sale is reflected in the buyer account and defective-stock availability.
Things to know
- Canceling a scrap sale does not physically refund the buyer.
- Do not re-add a battery to another scrap sale until it is available.
