Restore an earlier local company backup
Return a local company to the contents of a chosen backup.

Administration → Backups & sync → backup list → Restore
Backup administration access is required.
Step by step
Confirm the company and the backup date carefully.
Create and keep a current backup before proceeding when possible.
Select the intended backup and choose Restore.
Read the replacement warning and confirm only when the selected point is correct.
Nizam preserves the current database for recovery and closes the session during restore.
Reopen the company and check stock, parties, recent invoices and money balances.
What to check
- The local company opens with the selected backup’s records.
Things to know
- Transactions after the chosen backup are not part of that restored snapshot.
- If Nizam cannot preserve the current database, it stops the restore. Resolve that error rather than bypassing the protection.
- Do not use this local procedure to overwrite a Team Mode company.
