Create a local company backup
Save a recoverable copy before major changes and at the end of the day.

WHERE TO GO
Administration → Backups & sync → Create backup
Backup administration access is required.
Step by step
Confirm that this is the correct company and that you are in Local mode.
Choose Create backup.
Wait for the success message and find the new entry in the backup list.
If an external folder is configured, check the last successful second-copy status.
Keep a second copy away from the computer that stores the working data.
What to check
- A new backup is listed with a successful completion status.
Things to know
- Team Mode uses a different recovery process; local restore controls are not shown in the same way.
- A folder on the same physical disk is not protection from that disk failing.
