WHERE TO GO
Retail Prices Update and sale/purchase invoice
Step by step
Confirm both screens use the same retail price, discount and configured tax rate.
In the invoice, check the final net unit price after discount.
Compare it with the retail-price grid preview.
Use the actual agreed invoice rate and review the saved invoice.
For a fixed agreed rate, enter Net Unit Price directly and confirm it before saving.
Example
At retail Rs 14,160, discount 28% and configured tax 18%, the invoice formula gives Rs 12,744. Applying 18% after discount gives about Rs 12,030, so the previews will not match.
What to check
- The invoice uses the rate you intended rather than an unchecked preview value.
Current limitation
- Known limitation: invoices calculate tax on the original retail price; the grid’s discounted preview applies tax after discount.
- This is a calculation mismatch between screens, not a stock-cost change.
