WHERE TO GO
Stock Summary → Item Ledger
Step by step
Look for an unpriced-stock note in Stock Summary.
Open the affected item’s ledger.
Check its opening quantity and purchase cost, plus subsequent receipt movements.
Confirm that a catalog price was not mistaken for the historical cost of existing stock.
Correct an incorrect source document through the supported workflow, or retain the details for support.
What to check
- You can explain which stock is valued and which stock lacks a usable cost.
Things to know
- Unpriced stock can be excluded from the reported value total.
- Changing today’s purchase price does not automatically revalue old inventory.
