Reviewed 9 October 2026

WHERE TO GO

Administration → Permissions

Company administrator access is required.

Step by step

  1. Choose Add role and give it a clear name.

  2. Select the module actions the role should allow.

  3. Include supporting view permissions: invoice users need to view Items and Parties as well as the invoice module.

  4. Choose Save permissions.

  5. Assign the role to the relevant staff member.

  6. Ask the staff member to reopen the relevant workspace and verify both permitted and restricted actions.

What to check

  • The staff account can perform the actions intended for its role.

Things to know

  • Export is a separate permission where offered.
  • Administrators have full access. Standard staff access differs from a custom role with explicit permissions.
  • Unassign a role from its users before removing it.
